[个人概况]
bevictor1946韦德官网副教授、宾夕法尼亚大学城市研究所（Penn IUR）青年学者、北京市西城区天桥街道责任多师团队负责人。主要从事城市设计、社区营造、城乡更新、建筑遗产活化利用等方面的教学、研究与实践工作。主持或参与国家及省部级课题6项，出版专著1本、译著1本，发表中英文论文20余篇，牵头UNESCO WHV（联合国教科文组织世界遗产志愿者）项目1项，主持或参与工程实践项目近30项，包括北京城市副中心街道设计导则、北京金融科技与专业服务创新示范区核心区（原动批地区）城市设计、北京南苑湿地森林公园公共建筑群设计、北京市平谷区滨河街道平粮社区完整居住社区更新、北京天桥历史文化街区小微公共空间更新等。荣获WLA Awards（世界景观建筑奖）荣誉提名奖1项，ULI ASIA PACIFIC AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE（城市土地学会亚太区卓越奖）入围奖1项，全国优秀城市规划设计二等奖1项、三等奖1项，文化部中国设计大展入围奖1项，北京市优秀城乡规划设计一等奖2项、二等奖3项，北京市优秀工程勘察设计成果评价二等奖1项，北京市青年建筑创意设计大赛铜奖1项。
Dr. Zhenkun Gan is a Associate Professor, School of Architecture and Urban Planning, Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA); Emerging Scholar, Penn Institute for Urban Research (Penn IUR), University of Pennsylvania; Leader of the Delegated Planner Team for Tianqiao Subdistrict, Xicheng District, Beijing.
His work focuses on teaching, research, and practice in urban design, community building, urban and rural regeneration, and the adaptive reuse of architectural heritage. He has led or participated in six national and provincial-level research projects, published one monograph and one translated book, and authored more than twenty academic papers in Chinese and English. He has led one UNESCO World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) project and directed or participated in nearly thirty professional planning and design projects, including:
l Street Design Guidelines for the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center
l Urban Design for the Core Area of the Beijing Fintech and Professional Services Innovation Demonstration Zone (former Beijing Dongwuyuan Market area)
l Public Building Complex Design for Beijing Nanyuan Wetland Forest Park
l Complete Residential Community Renewal of Pingliang Community, Binhe Subdistrict, Pinggu District, Beijing
l Micro-Public Space Renewal of the Tianqiao Historical and Cultural District, Beijing
He has received one Honorary Mention at the WLA Awards (World Landscape Architecture Awards), was shortlisted for the ULI Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence, and won one Second Prize and one Third Prize in the National Excellent Urban Planning and Design Awards. He has also received a Shortlist Award at the China Design Exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture; two First Prizes and three Second Prizes in the Beijing Excellent Urban and Rural Planning and Design Awards; one Second Prize in the Beijing Excellent Engineering Survey and Design Achievement Evaluation; and a Bronze Prize in the Beijing Young Architects Creative Design Competition.
